  • Foil requires gentle care

    Foil is a delicate premium finish. Unlike standard plastisol, foil will gradually lose luster over time with repeated washing. Specify cold wash, inside-out on the care label to maximize life, and strictly avoid heat drying.

  • Customization requires more time and budget

    Premium finishes like foil and neon cost more per kg than standard puff. Additionally, matching custom color codes requires a lab dip approval, adding 2 to 3 extra days and a one-time setup fee.

In our catalog the two names refer to the same product family: a plastisol puff base finished with a metallic foil layer (gold, silver, copper, holographic, or custom).

Can you match any custom color?

Yes for solid colors. We mix the plastisol ink to match the target code and confirm with a lab dip before production. Fluorescent and metallic colors are handled as neon puff or foil puff respectively.

How durable is foil metallic puff in the wash?

Foil is a specialty finish. It requires gentle care (cold wash, inside-out, hang dry) to maintain its luster. Standard plastisol puff is significantly more durable for heavy-duty wash cycles.

What is the minimum order quantity for foil or neon puff?

500 pieces per design, same as our standard puff transfers. The premium inks do not change the MOQ.

What artwork format do you need for custom color or foil puff?

Vector AI or PDF with each color named (custom color code, foil finish, or RGB hex). Make sure type is converted to outlines.

What is the lead time after artwork approval?

Production typically takes 7 to 10 business days. For custom color matches, allow an additional 2 to 3 days on your first order to confirm the lab dip before bulk printing.
