Puff DTF Transfers

The newest member of the puff family. A full-color CMYK direct-to-film print stacked on top of an expanding foam base, so the entire color image rises off the fabric. No screen separation, no color-count limit. The right process for designs that are too colorful or too gradient-heavy for screen-print puff.

Limitations of puff DTF.

Frequently asked questions.

How is puff DTF different from regular DTF?

Regular DTF prints lie flat. Puff DTF adds an expanding foam base underneath the print, so the entire color image rises off the fabric, typically 1 to 2 mm. Same full-color top layer, raised body underneath.

How many colors can a puff DTF transfer have?

Unlimited. Puff DTF uses CMYK process color plus white, so a single sheet can carry photographic detail, gradients, and full-color logos without per-color setup cost.

What's the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is 500 pieces per design.

When does puff DTF beat puff screen print on cost?

For low-volume orders, puff DTF is cheaper because there's no screen setup cost. At higher volumes, puff screen print wins on per-piece price.

What artwork format do you need for puff DTF?

PNG at 300 dpi at print size with a transparent background is ideal. AI or PDF vector files also work. Avoid JPGs (the white background prints as a square block).

How durable is puff DTF in the wash?

50+ wash cycles when washed cold or warm, inside-out, tumble-dried on low. Same wash care as puff screen print. High-heat drying accelerates color fade and edge lift.
